As a Research Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting and contributing to the research efforts of the Information Security & Technology Assurance Division. Your primary responsibility is to assist in conducting studies, investigations, and experiments in the area of Information Technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and superiors to develop security programs and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality on all sensitive security matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform various assessments within a particular domain as assigned by supervisors.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports.
• Research security trends, new methods, and techniques.

Skills

• Ability to find relevant material for research.
• Ability to prepare reports and documentation.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Basic graphic design skills
• Basic knowledge in IT/computer systems.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Word.
