Description

As a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer you will be responsible for editing high-quality videos, creating engaging motion graphics and producing compelling visual content for digital platforms. You should have a strong eye for design, storytelling, pacing and brand consistency while meeting project deadlines.

    Responsibilities
  • Add music, sound effects, voiceovers and colour correction to enhance video quality.
  • Collaborate with the Frontend developers engaging visual content.
  • Create promotional videos, product videos and explainer videos
  • Design and animate motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects.
  • Develop animated graphics, logos, infographics, and typography animations.
  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for software systems, frequently asked questions, social media, advertisements, website content management systems and other digital platforms.
  • Ensure all content aligns with KNUST’s brand guidelines and creative direction.
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organize project files and maintain an efficient editing workflow.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques and motion design best practices.
  • Transform raw footage into polished, compelling video content.
    Skills

  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • Excellent storytelling and creative thinking abilities.
  • Experience creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D animation software is an advantage.
  • Experience with colour grading, audio editing, and visual effects.
  • Knowledge of video formats, codecs, exporting, and optimization for different platforms.
  • Proficiency in industry standard tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and motion graphics projects.
  • Strong understanding of motion design principles, typography, composition and colour theory.
