Description

As a Cyber/Information Security Assistant, your main role is to support the organization's cybersecurity and information security efforts. You work closely with the cybersecurity team to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and superiors to develop security programs and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality on all sensitive security matters.
• Monitor events and triage alerts across various security platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform various assessments within a particular domain as assigned by supervisors.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports.
• Research security trends, new methods, and techniques.

Skills

• Ability to prepare reports and documentation.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Basic graphic design skills
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS etc.).
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Knowledge in computer networking/programming
• Knowledge in IT/computer systems.
• Pays attention to detail.
• Understanding and use of Security tools and resources
• Work day shifts or night shifts.
